On a wandering and hollow night, the young and beautiful yet superficial and restless insurance saleswoman Yoshino Ishibashi (played by Hikari Mitsushima) was found dead at the Mimase Ridge in Fukuoka. Before her death, she had been in a relationship with civil worker Yuichi Shimizu (played by Satoshi Tsumabuki) through a dating site, but later, in her pursuit of wealth, she turned to the embrace of university student Keigo Masuo (played by Masaki Okada). This frivolous behavior directly led to the tragedy of her death. Following this, Masuo became the main suspect and was interrogated by the police. Meanwhile, the anguished Shimizu met the lonely clothing store salesperson Mitsuyo Magome (played by Eriko Fukatsu) online, and the two soulmates, feeling an affinity for each other, embarked on a desperate escape...
