◎Brief Introduction (from VeryCD) The story is set in the aftermath of World War II, when the United Nations voted to resolve the partition of Palestine: Britain would end its mandate in Palestine on August 1, 1948, and two months later, two states would be established on Palestinian land, an Arab state and a Jewish state. The film follows two young men, Jewish Bobby Goldman and Muslim Sa’d, as they revisit the history of the Israeli-Palestinian partition. They were once good friends, having met in the United States, but return to the Middle East for their respective missions, finding themselves enemies on the battlefield due to their different nationalities and positions. A romance subplot cannot be overlooked; Bobby meets Hadassah on the first day of the war, and their feelings are not overly dramatized, but can be sensed growing between them through their glances and actions...
