"The Fisherman and the Forest" tells the story of a man coexisting harmoniously with nature and developing together with it. In the woods of Maiken Bay, birds fly, and fish swim along the shore. Hatakeyama raises oysters here, viewing them as his mentors. The development of human society is closely related to the natural environment; without the complement of nature, humanity cannot traverse the narrow bridge of social development. While others are still unaware, Hatakeyama begins to take action. Even when others do not understand, and even when his actions are not accepted by the majority, he continues to plant seedlings and farm oysters on this land, waiting for the day when they will become the nourishing humus for others.
