In a small town in southern China at the end of autumn and the beginning of winter, a left-behind girl named Lin Sen (16 years old) is preparing for the college entrance exam, with her mother who has been working in Guangdong for years wanting her to attend police college. However, Lin Sen is bullied by classmates every day in school and often teased by her three younger male cousins at home, leaving her very frustrated.
