Five men, including Murphy (played by Kevin Costner), Michael (played by Kurt Russell), and Gus (played by David Arquette), arrive at the Riviera Casino in Las Vegas for a grand Elvis impersonator contest. However, these five aren't there to participate; they plan to rob the casino while it's crowded. The plan proceeds smoothly, and they board a helicopter waiting on the casino rooftop, carrying the 3.2 million dollars they've stolen. Just as they prepare to split the loot, Murphy shoots at the other four in a bid to keep the money for himself.
