Born into poverty but with a strong personality, new lawyer Wakahara Wakaba (played by Aragaki Yui) is entrusted by her female boss Sakurakawa Nobuko (played by Yakushimaru Hiroko) on her first day of work to take care of her 5-year-old daughter Sakurakawa Hinata (played by Tanikawa Kanon).
