Judy (Jordana Beatty), Rocky (Garrett Ryan), and Amy (Taylar Hender) are childhood friends who share a close bond. As summer vacation approaches, they gather to create exciting plans for the break. However, when the time comes to execute their plans, both Amy and Rocky change their minds; Amy will be going to Borneo with her mother for an adventure in an ancient tribe, while Rocky decides to join a circus to learn how to train lions. Watching her two friends embark on more thrilling activities, Judy feels lonely. To make matters worse, her parents suddenly have to go to California for work during the summer, and to take care of young Judy, they bring in Judy's unfamiliar Aunt Opal (Heather Graham) to keep her company.
