It has been eight years since we last parted ways, and due to a certain incident, the good friends Takeda Haruhiko (played by Ohno Satoshi), Futaba Rentaro (played by Matsumoto Jun), Okano Shun (played by Aiba Masaki), and Kamogawa Tadashi (played by Sakurai Sho) reunite again. Although Onda Takuma (played by Ninomiya Kazunari) is temporarily absent, it doesn't prevent the four from reminiscing and chatting in a host bar. With an exaggerated mustache, Haruhiko has married his ex-girlfriend's mother, sporting a shining green hat; Tadashi always wants to instill masculinity in his son, but his views clash with his wife's; Rentaro has married an eccentric Okinawan girl and started a cake franchise; Shun, after some twists and turns in his career, suddenly gets a wild idea to create his own brand. Not long after, Takuma, dressed in a strange outfit, joins them with a large family in tow.
Now in their thirties, having become working adults, what feelings do these good friends hold in this moment?
