In a seaside town in southern France, an inconspicuous painter named Gaspar (played by Gregoire Leprince-Ringuet) falls in love with a girl his age, Marianne (played by Pauline Etienne). One day, they accidentally find a mobile phone, and the strange messages inside pique their curiosity, while a photo of a disheveled girl on the screen seems to capture Gaspar's attention.
