The story follows three sisters who grew up in a traditional Japanese restaurant in Kanazawa. The eldest sister, Miyazawa Murasaki (Mimula), moves to Tokyo to become a full-time housewife; the second sister, Kashimoto Ai (Higa Aimi), works as a teacher in Toyama; and the youngest sister, Kashimoto Akane (Sasaki Nozomi), works diligently as the owner of the restaurant. One day, the news of their grandmother's passing brings the three sisters back to Kanazawa, where they also learn that their mother, whom they thought was dead, is actually alive.
