Joe Simpson and Simon Yates are a great climbing duo who have challenged countless peaks together; this time it’s the Andes in Peru. After successfully reaching the summit, during the descent, Joe has an accident and falls down a steep slope, breaking his right leg. Simon tightly holds onto him with a rope as they attempt to descend in a blizzard. However, along the way, Joe unfortunately falls into a crevasse again, making communication difficult, as they are connected by only a single rope. They are at risk of falling to their deaths at any moment, and the two stiffened climbers do not have enough food and water to survive. Simon's knife hesitates over the rope, and his tears flow uncontrollably. What kind of hope does Joe have at the other end of the rope? Can he survive this desperate situation?
