The young writer Aihara Noboru (played by Masaki Mukai), who recently won a newcomer award, receives an invitation from his alma mater high school in his hometown and reluctantly agrees to return to give a presentation. Shortly after getting off the train, he reunites with the senior Kamisei (played by Anna Ishibashi), who was regarded as a goddess back in the day.
