Based on the novel of the same name by bestselling author Nicholas Sparks. 17-year-old Veronica (played by Miley Cyrus) struggles to cope with her parents' divorce. Once a well-known piano prodigy, she refuses to play the piano and stops talking to her father after he moves to Tybee Island. To resolve the conflict between them, her mother brings her to the island to spend the summer with her father.
