A popular enka singer, Harumi has been under huge pressure due to her heavy workload. One day, she can no longer withstand her current life and decides to walk away. During her trip to clear her mind, Harumi encounters Tora-san (played by Kiyoshi Atsumi), and the two hit it off as they share similar interests, spending a carefree and joyful time together. Eventually, the company's agent finds Harumi's hiding place and takes her away. Although she returns to her old life, the happiness that Tora-san brought her is enough to support her as she continues on. After some time, Harumi arrives in Shibamata, wanting to thank Tora-san, but at that moment, he is out running errands and not at home. Leaving behind tickets to her concert, she departs. Will Harumi be able to meet Tora-san once again at the concert?
