Matthias (Colin Woodell) has a deaf girlfriend, Amaya (Stephanie Nogueras). In order to communicate successfully with Amaya, Matthias goes to great lengths, yet their relationship continues to deteriorate, leaving Matthias with an underlying sense of unease. One day, Matthias finds a laptop in a coffee shop and, by chance, takes it home. Using the saved username and password, he logs into the owner's personal homepage and discovers it seems to belong to a frivolous playboy. Through this laptop, Matthias connects with friends Sharena (Rebecca Rittenhouse), Damon (Andrew Lees), and Nari (Betty Gabriel) for video calls, and over time, they gradually uncover a terrifying secret hidden within the laptop.
