Atim (played by Ali Barkai) loses his father in the war. At sixteen, he takes a pistol and decides to seek out and kill his father's murderer. Fueled by deep hatred, Atim arrives in the city where his enemy Nasara (played by Youssouf Djaoro) lives. By this time, Nasara has already settled down and runs his own bakery, where he generously shares leftover bread with nearby poor children, presenting himself as a well-meaning person. To get close to Nasara, Atim hides his true identity and works as an apprentice in his bakery. Nasara greatly appreciates the smart and hardworking Atim, sharing his skills with him without reservation. Over time, a bond begins to form between Atim and Nasara.
