"The Spy Cohen" is adapted from the true story of former Mossad agent Eli Cohen, who successfully infiltrated Syria in the early 1960s and became an undercover operative. Cohen developed close relationships with ambitious military leaders and their wealthy friends, earning extraordinary trust in Syria's largest anti-Israel covert operation. In this series, Emmy-nominated Sacha Baron Cohen ("Who Is America?") plays Eli Cohen, who is determined to serve his country but finds it difficult to escape his double life due to his exceptional performance. Noah Emmerich ("The Americans") portrays Eli's Mossad chief Dan Phelan, who struggles with guilt over the sacrifices made by Eli. Hadar Ratzon Rotem ("Homeland") plays Eli's wife Nadia, who is left to care for their family alone and knows that her husband's government job has some issues. Walid ZUIT ( "Colony") plays officer Amin Hafiz, who believes he has found the perfect ally in undercover Cohen.
