The youngest, Hanana, is playful and cute, being the joy of the family; however, she often feels overlooked and runs to her grandfather (played by Toshiyuki Kobayashi) and grandmother (played by Shima Iwashita) next door to cry when she feels wronged. Soon, her kind grandfather passes away, and her grandmother's face is often filled with melancholy. Hanana moves next door to live with her grandmother, and the two find happiness and joy in each other's company. Time passes quickly, and before long, Hanana (played by Kii Kitano) grows up; the tiny house can no longer contain her footsteps, while her grandmother continues to encourage her to move forward...
