The story takes place in 1970s Australia, where Jimmy (Xavier Samuel) and Andy (Myles Pollard) are brothers who are as close as can be. When they were children, their mother moved the family to a small town by the Margaret River, home to the most dangerous and thrilling coastline in the world. From a young age, Jimmy and Andy started practicing surfing. In the blink of an eye, twelve years have passed, and Jimmy has shown an incredible athletic talent.
