Izayama Naomi (played by Haruka Ayase) is an elegant and enviable full-time housewife. To change her incomplete life and live a happy and peaceful existence, she found her husband during a social gathering and moved to a quiet upscale neighborhood after marriage. Naomi's life is stable and content, seemingly everything is going well. However, after living this way for six months, she is filled with worries. She has no talent for cooking, struggling even to chop cabbage. The homemade salad dressings receive harsh reviews, and recently her husband often settles for meals outside. Most troubling is that her daily life feels "too ordinary." The "normal family life" she once longed for and attained has unwittingly failed to satisfy her. Until one day, she discovers that seemingly happy housewives have various troubles. Although Naomi knows nothing about cooking and cleaning, she possesses a strong sense of justice, and it becomes dangerous when she gets angry. She intensely dislikes distorted matters and will not let wrongdoers go unpunished. Thus, she steps forward to stand up for the housewives. Naomi's pursuit of excitement stems from a past unknown even to her husband. Her childhood was dependent and she never understood what love was, living very stubbornly. Gradually, under the influence of the housewives' friendship and her supportive husband, she comes to understand true tenderness and warmth.
