Grandma Wang is a cheerful and warm-hearted old lady living in the alleys of Beijing. She dreamed of becoming a car driver when she was young, and it remained an unresolved aspiration in her heart until retirement. One morning, Grandma Wang rode her tricycle to take her granddaughter Juanzi to school, and cyclists looked on in amazement at this old lady on a tricycle. Breathless, Grandma Wang finally parked her little trike at the school gate, and her granddaughter Juanzi was not late, but this reignited her desire to drive a car. During a family outing, Grandma Wang persuaded her son Wang Xiaobao and finally sat in the driver's seat of a car, but in her nervousness, she mistook the accelerator for the brake, causing the family to scatter in a panic. This experience made Grandma Wang lament that she was too old to learn to drive, until she heard from her granddaughter that the age limit for learning to drive had been relaxed to seventy. She was immediately excited and expressed her desire to learn to drive. Her husband, Grandpa Wang, strongly opposed her learning to drive, and her son was also worried that at her age, it would be too much for her. One day, Grandma Wang tricked Grandpa Wang, who was guarding the house all day, and secretly registered at a driving school. On her way back from the driving school, she was attracted by a colorful hair salon and walked in. Encouraged by the stylists, she dyed her hair, got her nails done, and had some skin care. In the end, she also bought a pair of jeans at a nearby clothing store. With her head full of black hair, wearing jeans and sports shoes, Grandma Wang cheerfully hummed "Left hand a chicken, right hand a duck" as she returned home. The traffic regulations exam went relatively smoothly, but the subsequent road practice was not as easy. On the day of the road test, she almost drove the car into a wall. Feeling discouraged, Grandma Wang considered giving up; she carefully folded her jeans and put them away in the closet. However, that night, after she had an accident, her dismissed instructor sneaked into Grandma Wang's house and smashed a window. Grandma Wang went to the driving school to plead for the instructor, which also granted her a second chance at the exam. This time, with the instructor's serious guidance, Grandma Wang successfully passed the test.
