Val (played by Regina Casé) is a nanny who has worked for Fabinho (played by Michel Joelsas) for thirteen years. Although her stable income has improved her life, it also means that Val has not seen her daughter Jessica (played by Camila Márdila), who lives far away, for thirteen years.
