Illya Yelishko (played by Kseniya Rappoport), who has a dark past, arrives in Villerice, Italy from Ukraine. She rents a shabby room and requests work from the doorman of the apartment across the street, even offering to share part of her salary with him. After this, she befriends Gina (played by Piera Degli Esposti), a maid from a three-person family in the same apartment, trying every means to gather information about the Andzil family, even secretly duplicating their keys. In order to enter the Andzil home, Illya is willing to go to any lengths. She seems to be searching for something while also evading something else. All of this seems closely connected to Illya's past...
