"Dragon Shaped Hero Huang Chengke" is based on the founder of Nine Dragon Fist, Huang Chengke, and tells the story of the late Qing Dynasty when the government was corrupt, and China was being divided by foreign powers. Foreigners brought large amounts of opium into China, leading to internal strife and a struggling populace. Huang Chengke (played by Shi Junzhe) voluntarily leads the Guangdong heroes to uphold justice but is met with treachery and retaliation. After experiencing the pain of losing his wife and child, as well as many battles of life and death, he ultimately creates a set of "Nine Dragon Fist" that balances rigidity and flexibility, becoming a legendary hero.
