This documentary is the eighth installment in director Michael Apted's series that began filming in 1964. Michael Apted filmed the documentary "7 Up" in 1964 for the BBC, interviewing fourteen seven-year-old children from different social classes in Britain, some from orphanages and others from upper-class families. Every seven years, Apted would re-interview these children, listening to their dreams and discussing their lives.
