This documentary is the fourth installment of the series directed by Michael Apted, which began filming in 1964. Michael Apted filmed the documentary "7 Up" for the BBC in 1964, interviewing fourteen seven-year-old children from various social classes in Britain, some from orphanages and others from the upper class. Every seven years thereafter, Apted would re-interview those children, listening to their dreams and discussing their lives. At this time, they have grown to 28 years old, in the prime of their lives. Some are married with children, while others are striving in their careers. Childhood dreams are gradually taking shape in reality, and the long journey of life is just beginning.
