The story begins with police detective Liang Renjie (played by Hsu Chieh-Kai) investigating a series of bizarre criminal cases. However, a mysterious app suddenly appears, luring him into the traps laid by this app. Just when everything seems to spiral out of control, a journalist named Du Zixin (played by Chung Yao) comes into his view, informing him that there seems to be significant insider information behind this mysterious app. Thus, the two begin to collaborate in their investigation. They recruit world-class hacker Hank (played by Huang Shang-He) and advanced player Li Yuan (played by Yao Yi-Ti) from the CODE game to join their team. The four individuals, each with their own hidden agendas, come together for one single purpose—to reveal the truth behind the mysterious app.
