Iizayama Naomi (played by Haruka Ayase) is an elegant and enviable full-time housewife. In order to change her imperfect life and live a happy and peaceful life, she finds her husband through a social gathering and after marriage moves to a quiet upscale residential area. Naomi's life is stable and content, appearing to go smoothly. However, after half a year of this lifestyle, Naomi is filled with worries. She has no talent for cooking and cannot even cut cabbage. The homemade salad dressing receives poor reviews, and recently her husband often settles for meals outside. Most troubling is that her daily life feels "too ordinary." The “normal family life” that she once longed for and attained has unknowingly become unsatisfactory to her. Until one day, she discovers that seemingly happy housewives harbor various worries. Although Naomi knows nothing about cooking and household chores, she possesses a strong sense of justice, and when angered, she becomes quite dangerous. She intensely dislikes twisted situations and never allows bad people to go unpunished. Thus, she steps forward to stand up for the housewives. Under the influence of the friendship among housewives and the nurturing relationship with her husband, she gradually learns about true gentleness and warmth.
