The story centers around university student Haruhiko Kusumi (portrayed by Kenta Inuzuka) and erotic novelist Rio Kijima (portrayed by Terunobu Takezai). Due to an accident, Kusumi accidentally causes Kijima to suffer a broken bone while biking, and with no other options, Kusumi suggests that Kijima dictat a novel. Thus begins their entangled romance.
