A company has lost an SD card containing commercial secrets, causing an uproar in the office, with temp worker Yuukai Erakai (played by Masaki Okada) being the prime suspect. True to his name, Erakai has faced numerous bizarre misfortunes since childhood; he hasn’t even escaped the unlikely event of a meteor falling. Naturally, this bad luck has led to setbacks in both his academic and professional life. To prove his innocence, he contacts the strange detective Oikura Kyouko (played by Yui Aragaki) through the enigmatic manager of a detective agency, Noboru Kibanai (played by Mitsuhiro Oikawa). Kyouko has silver hair and is covered in notes. She only accepts same-day appointments, guaranteeing that all cases are solved on the same day.
