Andrés is a music teacher working in Madrid who has to move to a Basque town to substitute teach at a high school. He is over 40 years old and has never overcome his stage fright; he feels that his new life is taking him away from his dream of becoming a musician. When he arrives there, on the first day of school, he faints due to tinnitus: it’s cancer. To receive treatment, he must take the "Life Bus" to a hospital in Bilbao, an old bus that offers free transportation for all patients in the area. Amid laughter, honesty, experiences, and fears shared with fellow passengers, Andrés will gain strength to ultimately face his fears and achieve his dream of stepping onto the stage.
