Martians plan a large-scale invasion of Earth due to climate change on Mars making it uninhabitable. When the first spaceship lands on Earth, the residents think it's a meteorite. Dr. Clayfast learns through detection instruments that there is radioactivity and they must wait for it to cool down to investigate, but some curious onlookers approach and are killed. All of humanity's weapons are helpless against the Martians' heat-ray, and people around the world are fleeing in chaos. During this time, the Martians begin to die one by one, and it turns out...
