Newlyweds Forest (C. Thomas Howell), Karen (Anya Benton), Cole (Darren Dalton), and Lindsay (Lindsey McKeon) set sail to Puerto Rico for their honeymoon. During their journey across the Caribbean, they encounter a terrifying storm. After the storm passes, their ship's radar, engine, and freshwater are all damaged, leaving them lost at sea. In a moment of desperation, a small island appears before them. Overjoyed, they hurriedly take a lifeboat to the island, leaving the fearful Karen on the ship. Shortly after reaching the shore, crew member Dike is attacked by a pterosaur and killed, and they discover that the island is filled with long-extinct dinosaurs. When they attempt to escape this terrifying island, both Karen and the small boat are nowhere to be found. On this dangerous land, they must find a way to survive...
