Young man Ah Zheng (played by Xie Tingfeng) always dreams of living a different life and longs to go to South America. By chance, he encounters an undercover policewoman (played by Xu Ziqi) and becomes a "soon-to-be dad." To raise money for the child in the woman’s womb, Ah Jie quits his job as a bar attendant and starts working as a bodyguard for Uncle Ji (played by Huang Qiusheng). Ah Jie (played by Wu Bai) has been a mercenary in South America for many years. After experiencing the chaos of war, he hopes to wash his hands of the past and return to Hong Kong to marry Hui (played by Lu Qiaoyin), the daughter of a powerful gang leader in Hong Kong. By chance, Ah Jie meets Ah Zheng.
