Kanda (played by Shinichi Tsutsumi) is a producer of a puzzle game whose programs consistently achieve high ratings, making him highly successful in the industry. One day, Kanda wakes up from a coma to find himself in a boiler room, with a seemingly dangerous collar around his neck and a large number of business cards scattered on the floor. What drives Kanda to the edge is the discovery that his daughter Mina (played by Karen Ohtomo) is tied to the wall, also wearing a collar identical to his own. A mysterious man X (played by Masaki Okada) appears before the father and daughter, telling Kanda that he is now in a game with a two-hour time limit, and the stakes are Mina's life.
