Naomi (played by Ryo Kase) works in the foreign department of a department store and is exceptionally capable, but seems to be undervalued because of her gender, which leaves her feeling frustrated. Naomi has a college friend, Kanako (played by Yuki Uchida), who has recently moved nearby. Kanako is currently a full-time housewife, and her husband, Taro Habuto (played by Ryuta Sato), is an elite individual at a bank. Although her friend's life seems happy and complete, Kanako often suffers domestic violence from her husband and endures it in silence, feeling deeply pained. Concerned about her friend's situation, Naomi is inspired by a client, Jumi Lee (played by Junko Takahata), and a Shanghai smuggler, Longhui Lin, who looks just like their kimono department manager (also played by Ryuta Sato), seems to spark an idea in her. Afterwards, she tries to persuade Kanako, and the two plan to kill that heartless tyrant of a husband... This film is adapted from a novel by Hideo Okuda.
