"M For the Beloved" is a television drama co-produced by TV Asahi and AbemaTV, scripted by Suzuki Osamu, starring Shohei Miura and Karen Anzai, which aired on TV Asahi on April 18, 2020. The drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Narumi Komatsu, based on the autobiography of Ayumi Hamasaki, set in the music industry of the 1990s, telling the story of the singer AYU, known as the "Hiragana Diva," and the famous producer "Max Masa," who stirred up many major events in the music scene. Since her father went missing when she was a child, AYU (played by Karen Anzai) has been living with her mother and grandmother.
