During the Eastern Han Dynasty, Ban Chao's daughter Ban Shu (played by Jing Tian) seeks proof of her identity and infiltrates a girls' school to work as a female tutor. Ban Shu enforces discipline in a unique way using innovative teaching methods, winning the admiration of her students, and capturing the hearts of male tutor Wei Ying (played by Zhang Zhehan) and Dong Taohou's (played by Li Cheng) brother Dong Zhi (played by Dong Zhi).
