Dane Sanders (played by Simon Rex) and Jody (played by Ashley Tisdale) are a happy newlywed couple who unexpectedly receive a phone call one day. Previously, Dane's brother Charlie experienced a supernatural event and died tragically at home, while his three kids, Kacey (played by Gracie Whitton), Lily (played by Ava Kolker), and the infant Aiden (played by Dylan Morris), were reported missing. The three wild children are discovered by chance in a cabin in the woods, and after much argument and discussion, Dane ultimately convinces his wife to adopt the three little nephews.
