On the surface, the Su family appears to be flourishing, but with the sudden passing of Mother Su, it falls apart instantly. Unexpected hidden dangers emerge layer upon layer, and the arrangement and subsequent living issues of the indecisive yet selfish and petty Father Su disrupt the peaceful lives of the eldest brother abroad, the second brother in this city, and the youngest sister. Father Su Daqiang finally breaks free from his wife's iron grip, becoming increasingly demanding of his children. The eldest son Su Mingzhe returns to China from the U.S. intending to shoulder the family burden, but he finds himself overwhelmed and becomes increasingly estranged from his wife and children. The second son Su Mingcheng, who has been living off his parents, shows no signs of repentance, chasing vain dreams of wealth, leading to dual failures in both career and family. The least favored child, the youngest daughter Su Mingyu, who cut off financial ties with her family at eighteen, once vowed to distance herself from them. However, due to familial ties, she is drawn back into the Su family's troubles and intervenes during their crises. Ultimately, the Su family realizes that although they share blood ties, communication among family members should not be overlooked, leading to a reconciliation of familial love.
