Xiaomi (played by Wen Qi) works at a hotel located in a scenic area. One day, while on duty, a man comes in with two girls who look like elementary school students to rent a room. Despite her concerns, Xiaomi, thinking it's better to avoid trouble, proceeds to rent two rooms for them. Later, she sees on the surveillance footage the man entering the girls' rooms after some coaxing, and feeling uneasy, she records the scene with her phone. The two girls are named Meng Xiaowen (played by Zhou Meijun) and Zhang Xinxin (played by Jiang Xinyue), and the man is their "guardian." After the incident comes to light, Xiaowen's mother calls the police and contacts lawyer Hao Jie (played by Shi Ke), hoping the law can bring them justice. However, due to a lack of evidence, the suspect remains uncharged, and the most crucial evidence is in Xiaomi's hands.
