The Yagyu clan, with their unyielding ambition, dispatched several teams of assassins along the way to eliminate the father and son, Bai Yidao, but they ultimately all met defeat. On this day, the father and son checked into an inn, where a woman named Matsuko came seeking help, and Bai Yidao (played by Tomisaburo Wakayama) killed the pursuer. The brothel owner, Yuzo (played by Kinuko Hamamoto), who rushed to hear the news, demanded the man, but Bai Yidao refused and willingly accepted punishment for the girl.
