François Gaudère (played by Johnny Hallyday) was once a renowned hitman 20 years ago. After retiring, he opened a restaurant in Paris and lived a peaceful life. One day, his daughter Aileen (played by Sylvie Testud), who settled in Macau, is attacked by unidentified assassins. Her husband and two grandsons are killed, and only Aileen manages to escape. Upon hearing the news, François rushes from France to Macau, and after witnessing the horrific scene, he is determined to take revenge on whoever harmed his daughter’s family at all costs. Due to his unfamiliarity with the area, François' investigation yields no results. By chance, he encounters an assassination attempt at a hotel, leaving a deep impression of three killers: Ah Gui (played by Anthony Wong), Ah Zhu (played by Lam Ka-tung), and Fat Lok (played by Lam Suet). After a brief test and contact, François decides to hire the three as his helpers. With the clues left by Aileen and the investigation at the crime scene, they gradually narrow down the search, and a revenge mission quietly unfolds, while the conspiracy behind it slowly comes to light...
