Innocent Skunk (Eloise Laurence) is an 11-year-old girl living with her father, brother, and a foreign exchange student. By chance, Skunk discovers her neighbor Bob (Rory Kinnear) beating a young man named Rick (Robert Emms), the former accusing the latter of raping his daughter. However, in Skunk's eyes, Rick is not a wicked person; although somewhat odd in his dealings, his inner goodness is undeniable. Bob's violence does not subside after one beating; he seems to be planning something even more terrible. Marking a turning point in this violent incident, the world as Skunk sees it suddenly reveals its true face, exposing the indifference and selfishness of the adult world before her eyes.
