The grocery store owner falls in love with an undocumented Mexican teenager. He brings the boy home to live with him and travels with the boy's friends. However, this group of societal outsiders will eventually face a tragic ending. Gus Van Sant's debut feature is presented in a brand new restored print, making its first screening in Taiwan.
