Wu Jincheng (played by Wan Ziliang) was born into a poor family. He ended up in prison after accidentally killing someone while standing up for a brother. Years passed, and Wu Jincheng finally ended his time in prison and returned home, only to be expelled by his father. Left with no choice, he found work as a bodyguard at a dance troupe. In the dance troupe, Wu Jincheng encountered a singer named A-Jun (played by Tian Niu). One day, A-Jun had a conflict with a local thug, and fortunately, Wu Jincheng was there to protect her. A-Jun was attracted to Wu Jincheng's sense of justice, and soon they became a couple. However, Wu Jincheng could not tolerate A-Jun's extravagant lifestyle, leading to frequent arguments between them, and ultimately, they parted ways.
