The little ninjas' daily studies are tense, interesting, and filled with antics. During the summer vacation of their first year, Saito Eimaru (played by Goguchi Takuya) from the fourth-year class and his father Saito Yukitaka (played by Koga Joshi) are attacked by assassins Manjuu (played by Takenaka Naoto) and Tsuchijuu (played by Ishigaki Yuuma). This triggers a major confrontation between Ninjutsu Academy and the Poison Bamboo Ninja Team led by Hato Hayahou (played by Matsukata Hiroki). Who will ring the bell at the Daimei Temple? The showdown between the little ninjas and the Poison Bamboo Ninjas begins…This film is adapted from the national comic "Failed Ninja Rantaro," which has been serialized for 26 years by Nikko Soubei.
