The story takes place on the eve of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the nation, where a certain unit of the People's Liberation Army is selecting soldiers to participate in the parade. Instructor Sun Fang (played by Sun Chun) employs strict and harsh training methods, putting pressure on many new recruits.
