Marie (Bérénice Bejo) and Boris (Cédric Kahn) have been married for fifteen years. Over this long period, countless arguments have exhausted their feelings for each other, leading their marriage to a breaking point. However, divorce is a troublesome matter for both of them. When they bought their house, Marie paid for it, while Boris was responsible for its renovation. Now that they want to go their separate ways, figuring out how to fairly divide the property has become an unsolvable problem. Meanwhile, Boris is just an ordinary worker without the financial means to find another place to live. If he gets kicked out, he will inevitably face the tragic fate of ending up on the street. As they push and pull against each other, new conflicts arise one after another.
