Every morning, an AE86 drifts on Akina Mountain at an astonishing speed, and this AE86 belongs to the Fujiwara Tofu Shop. Takumi Fujiwara (played by Jay Chou) delivers tofu from his father's shop (played by Anthony Wong) to a lodge on Akina Mountain every morning, but this is not something Takumi wants to do. Takumi also works part-time at a gas station run by Aki (played by Sam Lee). Nakazato Ryosuke (played by Yu Wenle) challenges Aki's racing team, and while practicing on Akina Mountain, he is easily overtaken by an AE86. Nakazato decides to find out more about this AE86 and wants to race against it.
